Considering doing job to remove someone's double shower and, as close as possible, directly replace with 1700 bath.
House is new build with top quality "fitting out", need to avoid too much intrusion into other fittings, such as floor tiling etc! Shower tray is very low profile, no side panel access to underside for waste disconnection etc. Will of course remove lower course of tiling to help remove tray.
Have couple of questions, don't know if anyone has experience?
- How do you go about disconnecting shower tray waste? Didn't notice, or make note, if it was a two-part waste fitting with top mounted fixing screw for above tray disconnection!
- How are such trays without side panel access fixed in place? Are they siliconed to the floor, can't figure out any other fixing method.
- Is this pointing to destroying\breaking up the tray in situ to remove?
- Shower mixer currently fed via a remote pressure pump, also powering shower in a second en-suite. Is it ok to take these shower supplies and use to supply new bath mixer?
Any help, or suggestions, gratefully received.
Cheers,
Neil
