Hi,

I wonder if someone could help me with a quick question, I need to buy a new shower trap as our current one has broken and fallen through. If the hole in the shower tray is 60mm what size trap do I need? Ive seen one that has 70 mm FLANGE WITH 50 mm SEAL but as the hole is 60mm does this mean that the 50mm seal will not be big enough? Any advise or a link to the right one would be great. Also it needs to be a top access one and quite compact as there is only 80mm of hight under the shower.

Thanks

Chris

"50mm Seal" usually refers to the depth of the water in the trap, which usually affects the overall height of the trap assembly. It has nothing to do with the diameter of the fixing flange.

Thanks, that makes sence now, so if the hole in the shower is 60mm do you think the trap with the 70mm flange will fit ok?
