I’m in the process of connecting a shower tray waste and have encountered an issue. The tray is being installed on plywood, with layers of chipboard and OSB beneath it, which has raised the trap significantly. As a result, it’s not aligning with the existing waste pipes.
Would it be better to use a 135-degree bend to connect the trap and lower it to meet the waste pipes? Or would you recommend using a flexible pipe to adjust the waste to the correct level?
