I’m planning to connect a shower trap to the waste pipes for a new shower tray. The waste outlet is located towards the wall in the center, so the waste pipes will need a 90-degree bend.

I’ll need to make a cut near the existing Tee, but I’m concerned that if I don’t get it right the first time and need to cut again, there may not be enough pipe left to properly fit a coupler. Is there an alternative solution in case this happens, or is it critical to get the cut perfect on the first try?

Çant see full perspective but looks short of noggins and pipe support if thats the finished job appart from the pipes

If you're talking about cutting that pipe that is currently plugged with white roll then you can cut it back all the way towards the tee to the point that is still has enough waste pipe to get a fitting onto it and no more?

Yes, that’s my plan, but I’m just concerned about what would happen if I make a mistake during the solvent welding process. If I misstep, I won’t have enough pipe left to cut back and start over.

Put all together dry and fully fitted with the tray in, line up the waste/trap and loose fit, unscrew the waste then mark the pipe and orientation of the fittings etc, only then when it's all fitted, do you SW
