Hi, i am renovating my upstairs by levelling floor and while i'm at it i'm sorting the bathroom out.
My bathroom is long and narrow.
I would ideally like my shower tray on a mortar bed rather than a riser kit, however my waste pipe runs out the house above the floorboards. I can't drill for the waste to exit any lower (ie. under floorboard height) as the soild pipe is smack bang in the way.
Is my only option to have a riser kit and run the waste along the wall boxed in?
The joists are parallel to length of the bathroom and there would be sufficient space to run a waste pipe if it would work, however it would have to pop back out of the floor?
