I have already posted this question but never really got an answer.
I have a combination boiler and want to plumb a shower into it.
Screwfix sell 2 types:
1) using pressure balancing technology mixes hot and cold water to the desired showering temperature and automatically compensates for variation in supply pressure. Suitable for combination boilers or high pressure & pumped systems.
2) contemporary thermostatic shower (dual control). Maintains the selected temperature to within +/- 1 degree celcius. This has separate controls for flow & temperature and is compatable with all plumbing systems.
In your opinion which would be the better for a combination boiler?
thanks in advance
