Shutter the mains water on holidays

Hi,
I am planning on going away in December for a week, and I was thinking of shutter the main water to avoid any surprises when I come back.
I live in the UK, in a flat, on the top floor. I have a Megaflo Unvented Cylinder.
Is it okay to close the main water for the week I am away? I have no experience with these things, so wondering if the Megaflo will be ok with the mains closed.
Anything else I should do?

It should be OK if you shut the mains off. You might want to leave the heating on at a very low level if you are worried about frost depending on whereabouts you live and how well insulated the flat is.
