Siamp Optima 49 replacement

Hi all,

My toilet was leaking water into the pan. After some research i saw it was likely to be the flush value. I bought a new flush value what i think is the exact same model unless the water saving part is new.

Ive fitted the new one, copied the old ones set up but the long flush doesnt flush the whole cistern like before.

Only thing different to the old one, is the overflow was cut shorter.

Any ideas how to get a full flush or is this part of the water saving?

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. Yes i have the residual water open fully. And the lift rod set at 5 as before on old unit.

Only thing i havent done is cut the overflow as couldnt work out what and why this was needed with the flush.
