Ok. So I have a slightly triangle shaped side passage due to my house being on a corner.
The fence that I put in has concrete posts, about 4 feet high. They will be 12-24” into the ground (concreted)
The paving next to the fence is just slabs laid on sand.
I’d like to cover the passage for most of the garage length, from front to back, (20 feet) ?
I have an eaves overhang on the garage at about 8feet and realise that I can’t stick gutters over my neighbour’s side.
Am I better to ignore the fence and stick timber posts into the area that is paved?
Or is there a decent concrete post to timber clamp that I could use?
That way I could install onto the sturdy posts.
The rest of the timber work could be constructed with a fall towards the fence but on the inside edge of the posts,
The roof would drain to a gutter on my side and be done in sections to allow garage gutter access.
I guess I could do it in plastic? But timber is easier for me.
Thoughts?
TIA
