Siemens thermostat won’t charge

Hi, I’ve got a mains Siemens rev23 thermostat upstairs and down. The upstairs one has started making a faint buzzing noise this morning and on checking I can see it’s not displaying anything except no charge. Any ideas on how to fix?

put new batteries in it , that symbol means battery CHANGE not charge
