Hi,
Is there anyway to stop a "Siemens Trade TRV" from seeping at the spindle. I freed it up the other day as it was gunked up and stuck. But now it leaks if the spindle is not fully open.
I checked the small 12mm nut on the top was tight and it was. I was wondering whether this nut can be removed and the spindle repacked but am not sure whether that would release the water as it's on a pressurised combi-system.
I am wanting to install a Hive TRV and due to the thread on these being M28x1.00mm I had to buy an adaptor. So if the actual TRV needs to be changed any recommendations on one that works well with Hive TRV's (preferably M30 thread for TRV Head)
I'd prefer not to have to change it as don't fancy draining down the heating system!
Many Thanks
