Siemens Washing Machine Dosing Problem

Hi everyone!!

I have the Siemens WM16W6H0EU washing machine. The last few months a have a problem with the dosing mechanism. Altough I have both the detergent as well as the softener i-DOS cabinets full, the light indicators of the automated dosing system of both keep blinking (as if they are empty of products).

Can you please help me with this?

Not familiar with this machine or system but do the instructions tell you how to remove and clean the draw. If you can do that when you take it out give it a thorough clean and look into the back of the chamber you have removed it from as I would guess there is some sort of sensor at the back that is either sticking or just needs cleaning.
