Hello,
the patient is a 2016 Siemens WD15G421GB washer dryer aka iQ500; I imagine many Bosch group models from that time have similar internals…
Hot air stopped blowing into the load during the drying cycle. I unscrewed the top cover of the fan, lifted it and predictably found the fan clogged with dirt.
My problem is that I don’t know how to remove the fan completely. I can lift the top part, but the back of the machine frame prevents me from separating it altogether so it can be cleaned (see attachments)

There must be an easy way of removing it? Thank you to everyone who can help!
