Just changed the carbons on the motor of my Siemens WXLM166AGB - putting it back together noticed a wire had become detached from the clip that goes into the back of the motor - eased the motor out again - 3 more fell out....
7 wires in all - all orange - no idea which one is which - HELP!!! Please...
Can't find any wiring diagrams - if I trace back to the PCB - possible to get them back in the right order - but don't know where to start.
Any advice would be appreciated.

It dawned on me that I was being a bit thick - I spotted the numbers on connectors both ends - matched the wires up using a tester to make sure all was OK. Replaced the carbons - put it all back together again - motor still not working. Bought a replacement motor - installed - switched on - loud popping from PCB. Wiring all fine - any bright ideas would be most welcome? Could it be that the original problem was a faulty PCB?
