Hi folks,
I've recently had my cellar lowered by about 10 inches and have had the floor tanked and the walls sand cemented with Sika-1. After this, the plumber has fitted some pipework against one of the walls (which has earth behind it) and I am seeing the area around it/below it to be quite damp. I am assuming this is because of the waterproof seal being penetrated.
Now that this "mistake" has occurred, what can be done to fix it? Do I have to remove the pipework and redo the entire affected wall with Sika or can I just carry out spot repairs where the screws/nail has been used?
After this has been corrected, any ideas on how you can connect pipes to the wall without penetrating the seal?
Thanks for the help
