I have just installed brand new decking, but am unsure if I should oil the deck or stain it as I have been told and read conflicting reports
With oil I have been told that after 12 months you will have to oil the deck again and you'll never be able to stain it if you so wish in the future
Same with stain once its stained a colour there is no way this can be removed
As for brands I have been told about sikkens cetol hls plus is the best choice, is this correct and is it any better than the likes of cuprinol or ronseal?
