Sikkens Exterior Wood Stain

Hello,

First poster, but much read here.

I'm having some new driveway gates fitted this week and they are untreated PAR softwood.

I'm going to use Sikkens water based stain on them, but wanted to know what is the preferred method of application; roller or brush and what type?

i was planning on using one oat BL21+ then two of BL31.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
