Silicon (or ms polymer,) mastic over Bangor slates

I use mastic along the vertical spaces between the slates as a quick repair job if there is water getting in under the slates.

However I find it very hard to get the right colour to match the slates.

Is there any way to match the mastic colour to the slates? (transparent doesn't work either as it turns opaque quite soon)

maybe that was it and I used silicon mastic .

But what about if I want to get as close a match to the colour of the slates? Can that be done?

There are grey mastics available, I'm not sure about moss green

As a quick bodge in between rainstorms, I have found lead sealant a good fix for fibre cement slates; it's messy stuff, but remains flexible and the colour match is quite decent
