Can you take a the cartridge apart on a dripping ceramic disc valve. Grease the ceramic discs with silicone grease to stop them dripping? Saw a video on it. Thanks.
lol - not really Xander - they're not designed to be greased like that and if they are worn then no amount of grease is going to hold the water back I'm afraid, especially if it's mains pressure.
I had a dripping one once and toot the cartridge out and blasted it with water from a syringe and it cured it. I think there was some gunk in there or a bit of calcium deposit got caught in it

The only thing likely to work, is soaking it in citric acid, or lemon juice, assuming the drip is caused by limescale on the discs. Always worth trying, but if that doesn't work, then it's a matter of replacement.
I've found that a dripping tap is usually caused not by the ceramic discs themselves but rather by a reduction in the force pushing them together exerted by the seals. Replacing the seals has worked for me.
