Why are the protests in France called "The Yellow Vest Protests" with some English reporters and commentators, for some inexplicable reason, using the French words?
Why are they not "The Black Shoe Protests"?
Will everyone who has a hi-viz jacket or vest be branded trouble-makers by some on here?
I remember in the past (do they still do it?) that the newsreaders would use some foreign words and not others. For example, they would always say "Monsieur" Pompidou and "Herr" Willy Brandt; yet it would be Mister Krushchev - Russian too dificult, I suppose.
