Sime 100c format boiler

Hi, i have a 100c format combi boiler, the problem is that when i put the hot water tap on the boiler fires up & i get hot water...however when the heating is on timed, it fires up sporadically & the only for approx 10secs & then goes out!
Any help & advice would be much appreciated.

Ignition PCB (Big vlue one infront of gas valve) Is shot.
I change roughly one a week.

Depends where you are in the UK Really.

Part roughly 120 - 150 +Vat dependant on your mans supplier and its a 10 minute job but with travel etc expect to pay at least an hour(which is only fair).

Hi just thought i would let you know that the exact same thing is happening to mine, british gas engineer came up and quickly deflected from there being a fault in the boiler and said a powerflush was needed at a cost of £600
