I have a combi boiler - Sime super 90 plus and currently have no hot water (it doesnt even kick in when i run the taps, although the central heating is fine). on a seperate note, it has a switch on the front which i've been told are summer and winter. I've been fiddling about trying to escape another cold bath and the switch is currently on winter. Firstly, when i've tried it on summer the boiler appears dead - it doesnt do a thing. Secondly, anyone have any ideas if the no hot water thing is a big job as i'm gonna have to call out a plumber and being clueless at this i'm trying to avoid being stung!
I know it can't be diagnosed over the net but was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?
