When I turn on a hot tap my SIME boiler won't ignite & a red fault light comes on after 30 secs or so, after the pump/fan has sounded.
Sometimes if I repeatedly open & close a hot tap before the red light comes on the boiler fires up & the temperature increases so I can have hot water (before temp goes back down to 10C) but this isn't even working much lately.
Boiler pressure ok, tried different heat settings & tried it with CH on but no effect. Has done it a couple of times before last year & then sorted itself out - no trouble since last summer.
Can anybody advise me (ignition or PCB problem)?
