Simple problem..... i hope

Hello All,

hope its simple any way, when i flush my toilet the handle stays in the "down" position. The flush itself is fine. At first it would only stay down for a few seconds but it is gradually staying down longer and longer. Hope someone can help and thanks in advance.

If it's flushing okay then have look at the plastic nut that hold the handle,sometime they tighten itself everytime you use it (loosen the nut slightly) or the pin which operate the plunger could be out of alignment or sticking etc.
