Hi guys, can anybody advise please.....
I'm erecting a small simple roof canopy using timber gallows style brackets. It's going to be tiled and is only approx 20inches x 36inches (against the existing wall).
I'm fixing it to a timber framed wall cladded with timber shiplap. But I'm wandering how to fix the flashing. There's no mortar to grind out or anything to lap the flashing under........... make sense?
I'm thinking of cutting out a strip of the shiplap above the canopy so I can lap the flashing underneath to ensure any water drains away.
Is this the best thing to do?????
