I have got a garage built with breeze blocks (single skin) and one of the side walls get a lot of rain in driving wind in the winter.
This wall is not so visible as it is partially blocked by neighbour`s fence hence working space is tight & it does not need to look pretty however it needs to be water proof.

So all the above in mind ,is there such product i can use as a one coat render for waterproofing breezeblock walls ? I remember seeing a video of a product applied literally by hand long time ago but i cant for the life of me remember what it is. The person applying the coating was wearing some gloves to literally rub the product on to the wall etc. It was not a smooth, level ,pretty finish but i presume it was doing the job.

Any ideas on this would be much appreciated.

Make sure all the perp and bed joints are full and paint it with a good quality exterior masonry paint..3 coats.

Thats not a bad idea to be honest. Any idea of a good brand that will last long years as i dont want to be doing this job often?

Also since the breeze blocks are super porous , is there anything i can use to seal them before the paint ?

Dulux weathershield, sandtext etc are all decent, I would put a watered down coat on first to take up the suction.

2 coats of tanking slurry will last the life of the wall and be waterproof.
wont look particularly pretty though.
