Hello,
I want to move a single light switch to the other side of a door. I have access above in the loft so I chased in the new position. In the room it also has a pull cord type switch that I will be removing( pushing up into loft space through ceiling)
When I removed the old trunking it has 2 cables entering the box, 1 cable has 2x red & 1 x earth, the other has 1 x red & 1 x earth.
There is not enough flex in the cables but I can extend them in the loft.
Can I simply just use a choc box to connect them?
If I find the cable running to the pull switch can that simply be removed from the wall socket by not connecting it?
Thanks jack
