single skin gable end restraint strapping??

Hi guys,

Can't find any information on how to strap my single skin gable wall to the roof. I know with a cavity wall the end of the restraint strap gets bedded inbetween the skins but my garage is single skin.

Is it OK to screw it on the inside of the gable end or is there a special strap that I need to be looking out for??
