Hi all.

I’m on a day of learning today! Can someone please explain to me the wiring in these pictures? There seems to be three live, three neutral, and three earth wires on this single switch?

Many thanks

It appears to not be a "switch" as such but probaly a socket or a Fused Connection Unit.
Difficult to tell from that picture.
Can we see the other side? The front plate.

Lesson 2:

It is a socket; not a switch.

It looks like a ring circuit with a spur.

That is two of the cables come from the consumer unit and supply several sockets on their different routes.
The other likely supplies another socket (not on the ring) nearby.

Oh and the black wires are Neutrals; they probably won't be in an actual switch.
