I can guess the answer to this but I was wondering if anyone has tried putting some kind of liquid sealant down the drain from (in this case) a bathroom sink?
After 17 years with no problems my sink waste pipe has started to leak through the ceiling below. I can't think why. Its coming from the waste pipe work within the wall/ under the floor so I'm about to embark on hacking plasterboard apart and caking everything with plumbers mate but i thought i would ask this question before i do. Its not a huge leak, about a drip every 4 seconds when the tap is on full.
