Well after someone said on here that Glowworm aren't doing spares for non condensers after april, and that I cant get through to Glowworm or they want 50p per minute on the tech line (they can stuff that up there arrsse) my customer has decided to have a condenser (no I aint gonna use a Glowworm because of above problem) , I am now having the dillema of which one to recommend, I have narrowed it down to a Suprma HE or an Ideal Icos, all comments appreciated on the above.
Oh yea, can anyone email me a set of instructions in pdf format for the Isor
as Ideal dont seem to be able to manage to reply to my request, (wannkkers)

Yea got the Isar in my house, rather noisy in the middle of the night when warming the heatbank, it''s the Icos compared to the Suprima HE I am wondering about.

Look, somebody tell me which one to use so I can blame them when it turns out to be a pile of crap, trying to explain to a 70 year old lady customer all the differences between SE HE alum, stainless standard, Combi etc etc and technicalaties so that when the shiitte hits the fan I can say, " I TOLD YOU SO
DONT BLAME ME" I didn't invent Part L.
One simple quote and it's doing my head in.

Neck out on the line

I flatly refuse to install pottertons after the ammount of PCB's I have had to fit in them over the last 12mths

we have fitted somewherein the region of 300 Icos/Isars and have had trouble with 5, two of which was feed bacfk of 90v back down from a honeywell three port valve, they sent me a relay and changed the design so it aint no thing no more. the other three were pcbs

I think that that is a pretty good failure rate.

Also I am sure they come with a two year warantee dont they, as one of the boilers mention broke down 18mths after installation and Ideal came and sorted it, or was I just lucky?

I have attended the icos/isar course at Hull and found them a piece of **** to service/strip down.

So I would recommend Ideal and Potterton Baxi can kiss my huge pink Arse

Thanks corgiman and guys, quotes allready typed out with the Icos on it and not the Potty, only thing that ****es me off is Ideal have failed to email me back with pdf install info, anyone know what they stipulate for flue minimum distance horizontal from an opening window :?:
