I have a Sirrus Quickstart instant water heater which does not work. It has a wire from the thermal cutout on the cold water in which is not connected. It was bought new & unused some time ago & left in box. However on taking cover off to fix to wall i noticed this thin black wire just hanging there. I went ahead & plumbed it in & got it wired in by an electrician.
When connected to power only one light of the 4 will light up. The thermo device is an ATMOR 162001b. There is some info online but nothing to do with the wiring, where this loose wire should go. One wire goes to switch & the other to ????
Ive looked at some pics which show it going to the relay so i tried it but in one position it just makes the relay keep switching & in the other position it does nothing.
