it's a makita at heart, i got the 18V cordless with 3 batteries fairly recently for <£50 and it is good a friend of mine has the 110V 4" grinder and is very happy with it.

I've been using the Site circular saw lately. It's absolutely identical to the Makita version, at half the price. Very nice bit of kit. I'm half tempted by the angle grinder, but I have no real use for one.

I've just snapped up a couple of bits.

Got a 4" 110v grinder for 20 quid. At that price I might as well. It'll do just for sitting in the workshop.

Just got my Site 115mm Grinder today and for £20 its a steal especialy for a 110 volt power tool if it only last 12 months then its paid for itself. I have the 9 inch version too bought a while back but the flange nut has gone tight and i cant get the disc off.

Got my £20 grinder. It seems pretty good but I've not properly used it yet.

Got the £50 circular saw while I was at it. The blade isn't the best, but they never are. It seems better than my old faithful DeWalt which I dropped recently and proper broke it.

The blade on mine seems pretty good. Clean, straight cut, no fuss, and very fast. I wish the cable was a bit longer, though.

But it's DeWalt so it'll be poo, and its more than twice as expensive as the site one.

I must admit I didn't even try it. It just didn't look very good due to it's lack of teeth.

I just robbed the trend blade out of my old dewalt saw.

It's perfectly good for fast cuts. Very clean, too. I've got a 40 tooth Dewalt blade for cleaner cuts (flawless edge on kitchen worktop, which is nice).
