Could anyone help please with this query I have. When installing oil central heating, is it best to use 10mm or 15mm copper pipes. I have been told to use 10mm, but have always used 15mm in the past. Thanks in advance for yor help, Pam.
Even though I piped my system in plastic - the same theory should be OK with copper. I ran the bulk of the pipes in 22mm and branched off from manifolds in 10mm to the rads. As Brezer says 10mm can look neater than 15mm as it is quite easy to run the pipes down behind the skirting instead of up through the floor.
