Hi all. Please help me clear up confusion from google and youtube.
the job is small, finishing a relatively small wall area for an understairs WC but has plenty of inside corners
Iv starting the jointing process and taping using joint compound and while i feel the finish is a little rough (im a noob) i am ok that my understanding of joint is ok.
the question is what goes on top of the joint compound and plasterboard walls for the last full wall coats?
Iv seen many links and videos saying a slightly thinned down joint compound rolled onto the wall and smoothed out and also seen videos of brown plaster that seems to be done diffferently.
I have a bag of skimcoat by gyproc. what method do i use? this to joint compound and what technique? input would be appreciated
