skimming over old plaster

i have been askd to skim this wall for my mate, bt the plaster has been on there 4 a few years,
what is the best way to do it?
should i score the the wall with a stanley then pva it or what?

i need help again

yeah it is mat finish paint, will i need to key it with a stanley or not bother and just use pva,
i should know this by now

shes still learning!

just pva on top of matt emulsion the day before, then again prior to skimming letting the pva go tacky first...............keep up the studying ;)
 
Would not let her train on my walls ,as does not even know the basics. Better off training on wall in your own house or length of plasterboard before wrecking someones house me thinks. :LOL:

hey thanks for that,

im onli on my level 2, and still training,
i cant be that bad if im a LSA at a collage,
and im teaching other how to do box screen and that
i just wanted to check thats all,

cos if you read the post i put in, i do say should i pva it and/or score it with stanley,

yeah i was plastering ceiling and i did a good job,

i was able to put up a ceiling rose and coving up,
im good at plastering but they is just a few things i need ask about,
