morning

have had a search around the archives but canna find what i want (too many results - lol)

going to skim two sections of plasterboard tomorrow and i was wondering what to do about the join between them?

i only have two 'boards' with a total join of about 8 - 10 feet so i don't want to go out and buy specialist gap joiner (i take it that such a thing does exists?)..... i was thinking of filling the join with glue (good ol' no nails - lol) then taping over the join, followed by a skim - would this work or will i still be likely to get a crack down the join in the near future?

ps i wouldn't recommend working in loft/attic spaces in this heat.... especially as the beer doesn't seem to Re-hydrate you like it used too

use fibre tape for the joints, about £6 a roll or you can buy half a roll for patching for the same money, so might as well get a full roll.
