Hi all,
Just looking for advice before I get someone in.
Almost all the floors upstairs have laminate in them which I think has been down a while. We’ve not long moved in.
Long story short we’ve had and keep finding issues that need fixing.
There seems to be gaps between the laminate and the skirting and we’re not sure why of it it’s just been done that way. For example in the landing corridor there is a gap I can get the tip of my fingers in. It’s tigger at the end of the room but a gap in the middle. Same for one or two of the bedrooms, gaps in the middle and tighter at the ends.
The house was built in 1984 and only had two owners before us. I’m sure some of the rooms it’s due to being carpet and then wood floor being down but wondered what your thoughts were.
Pics attached.
TIA.
