Evening all
Will need to fit new skirting throughout downstairs as having new floating floors throughout. Small hall is ready for skirting now with rest to follow soon.
However my queries:
Happy to do either MDF or pine but.....
I need to scribe skirting to the floor as have a small lump/bump and I'm sure will need to do this on other walls also. Pine happy to scribe then plane and sand to shape however what's easiest way to do this on MDF as literally will be few mm here and there. Have found in past its not so easy to trim such small margins.
If I use pine is it to best to prime with zinnser BIN, twice over knots, then can undercoat and top coat with water based satinwood?
Cheers muchly
