sky box

Hi all

Think my sky box is f***ed we recently had some bad weather and lighting since then the box doesnt work i checked the fuse on the plug and was gone so replaced it. switched it on then the fuse inside blew
any ideas has the the lighting fryed it ?
please help

This can happen from time to time. Normally through terrestrial aerial rather then from LNB as dishes are normally not mounted too high.

Using a pre-amp often stops TV and other items failing unless direct hit. But likely the Sky box saved your TV.

thank god it didnt blow the tv got me another box to day for 30 euro
