hi there
i have a sky box which i need to connect to the telephone socket to receive sky anytime, sadly the socket is a room away and it would be difficult to conceal the wire, however on the outside of the house is the box where the phone line comes which is much nearing to where i need the telephone line, therefore is it possible to connect directly to the phone line running the wire on the outside of the house and in where the sky cable enters the house, a much shorter and neater alternative, but can it be done
your advice would be great please

Any interference with the incoming cable would NOT be looked at kindly by BT or whoever provides your service. You are only allowed to touch the system after the master socket indoors.
