Sky TV link device.

I know it's not CCTV, but I'm sure the assembled wisdom on this forum will be able to help me.

Story.
Daughter moved house, and had new Sky+ box installed. All working great.

Tried to get tv in another room working as per instructions in Sky manual. Get the tv to work OK, but the tv link thing that is plugged into the aerial won't work to change channels.

In her old house, with a different Sky+ box, it worked fine. Bought a new Sky Link device, but it doesn't work either. The LED's on niether link device are coming on.

What next do I try?

Does she possible have a faulty Shy+ box, although it is working in all other respects?

have you turned on the voltage from the RF2 output as per the instructions with the sky link. sorry cant remember the key sequence to get in to the menu, no doubt others will leap in and tell us

edit found the sequence
Press SERVICES
Press 4 for SYSTEM SETUP
Press 0 then 1 then Press SELECT - to enter Installers Menu
Press 4 for RF OUTLETS
scroll down to RF OUTLET POWER SUPPLY and turn it to on.
Scroll down to SAVE NEW SETTINGS and Press SELECT to store the changes
Press BACKUP to go Back to your Sky channel
