I use it a lot also for chatting to friends, I also use skype out and havnt had many problems though i prefer voipbuster for outgoing calls (skype does have dtmf or whatever you call it - you know the one, press 1 for such and such, press 2 for something else)

I tried skype yesterday, talked to a mate in Australia, it was perfect even with cam on, we tried bringing a couple of others into the conversation, the cam didn't work and the forth person made it very garbled but hey! if its just you and a friend its brilliant and you can see each other on cam. nice

again...I'm trying to find out. when you first visit, there is an introduction where it says it is free....but as you read on through different sections, it speaks of "billing" and "buying credit"....and "transferring funds"....that doesnt sound free to me. For those of you who have tried it out....is it really free? or is there a catch?

Its free if the person your calling also has it on their pooter, if you use it to call a land line it costs which is why you'd need credits.

thanks RichardP.....had heard good things about it....but personally was having trouble navigating through it....then started to panic a little when I started seeing a lot of "posts" on billing.....I didnt want to get a huge surprise in the mail
