After taking up the hallway (11m2) carpet and tiles I went and bought some SLC to get the floor (which is concrete) ready for the wood flooring to go down. After buying four bags of the 1-10mm stuff a realised that the gap between where the floor is and needs to be is about 14mm... I know measure once buy twice
Am I best:
1. Buying several of the 3-40mm SLC stuff and using that in the first pour, and then a second pour to use up the four other bags of a few mm.
2. Swapping the four for the thicker stuff plus the extra bags I need to do one 14mm pour (1 and 2 will be expensive I reckon).
3. Anyone know if I can get away with cement and sand scree of 10mm to bring it up a bit, if it's on top of existing concrete, then the 4mm SLC and then wood flooring?
