My polycarbonate conservatory roof is sliding down leaving gaps at the top.

Please can someone advise what I can do fix this?

I have found universal end caps where a metal bracket holds the polycarbonate sheets in place... they are. 35 pounds though!!! Can anyone advise a cheaper DIY alternative? Will expanding foam between the sheet and the bar work?

Please see pic

Thanks

Either a decent l shaped bracket screwed down into the end of the bar in the track ( make sure the screws are on the outside of your conservatory :) ) or maybe a flat plate screwed into the end that will hold both sheets in place. I've seen in the past where someone has screwed a large screw horizontally through the roof bar to hold the sheets in place. Quick fix but not recommended.

Don't put expanding foam in, it will block the bars drainage channel and you'll end up with a new leak!
