Does anyone know where I can find replacement sliding mechanism for mirror fitted wardrobe doors. The one door mechanism, the roller wheel has collapsed and all the ones I have seen on the internet do not look the same. I am looking for someone who has spares for these mechanism (ie roller wheel ..etc).

bit vaugue hadritz

at very least you will need a picture
and because your wheels are 24" x 2" a bycicle shop may be best :D :D :D ;)

very nice of you Lumc, but i bet hadriz has given up by now, he only asked in 2007 "Posted: Thu Mar 29, 2007"

Please check the date a post was made before you reply.
Over a month is considered old due to the speed the forum moves at.
There used to be a rule telling you not to make your self look stupid, but admin saw fit to remove it.

Well to necro the thread again almost a year later I like to thank Lumc for posting anyway as I had the same problem and his link even now was good for me to buy a replacement!

But the intention was never to help you (you were not a member then) it was to help hadriz, who, as i pointed out, asked the question over a year ago (at the time i mentioned it) and your thanks will probably fall on deaf ears, because Lumc who posted a link, only ever made the one post.

I would like to thank him, but the post is for your benefit, to try and point out despite your formidable post count that his post was helpful whilst yours was not, which I believe is rule #1.

Abusive or unhelpful posts are not welcome

This thread is what comes up high on a google search for the problem so the irony is that him having not followed what you subsequently advised has potentially helped hundreds, in contrast to your advice to him which he likely never read.

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who appreciates irony.

They can all be bought on ebay buy searching "Stanley sliding door spare parts"

Plenty of them for sale for worldwide delivery.

I don't mind who reads my posts and finds them helpful. That's what they're for.
