Hi,
I have a couple of uPVC sliding doors, one at the front of the property, this is a bit noisy and takes quite a bit of effort to open and close, how do I fix this?

The other uPVC sliding door is at the back and is also difficult to open and close, requires some effort, but not noisy.

Also one of the small windows in the bedroom is quite stiff to open, I'm guessing it needs lubricating, but with what and where (on the rivets?)

Thanks

Steve

I'll try lubricating first, that's got to be easier.

Is it easy to replace wheels? Any You tube video to do this? I'd guess mine are quite old, only moved in a few months ago so I don't know how old they are

Old doors, Thats another story.

Listen for grinding while sliding the doors, this would indicate worn bearings in the wheels.
Some are easy to change and some I would recommend for pro's only, We will need some pics.

Start with a good bit of lube though and see how it goes. Make sure to get all the wool pile seals.

Thanks, I've ordered the WD 40 silicone, I was thinking if I vacuim first to get up and dust, grit etc?
