Hi all

I am looking to install sliding wardrobe in my bedroom. The width is 3000 mm and height is standard wickes/ homebase/ stanley ones (226 cm I think).
According to stanley, I would need 4 of 30 inch wide standard doors to cover the area.

My wife has asked (demanded) to have locks (with keys) for this wardrobe as the one for other bedroom I did was simply 3 sliding wardrobes with no locks, which does not suit her requirements of locking some valuables (from me)!

Could you please advise what options I have and any vendors who do them?

Thanks in advance!

get her a bedside cabinet to keep her "toys" in.

Although you can get a plunge lock for sliding doors, the doors will be very big and the lock very small, sooner or later a door will roll into a lock and one or both of them will be broken.

You can get locks for sliding patio doors that are quite cheap and easy to fit. You push the cylinder in, and a small bolt comes out the back.

No wardrobe lock will be any use against someone wanting to burgle her and not minding about causing damage.
