Slightly bouncy laminate floor

Laid an 8mm laminate on a 5mm laminate insulation board, on timber floor. In several places or moves as i walk on it, mostly on the wall side.

Put down today, boards been in the house for a while.

Might it settle?

Wife says it's ok (result!) but I'm wondering if I can improve before i finish it. But if only way is to rebuild the subfloor, then i won't bother! Some pieces around the door frame will be impossible to remove without damage.

I’m guessing the floorboards aren’t flat.
