Does anybody have the solution to slippery decking when it is wet or the bad weather comes along?

Mix some sand in with the decking treatment before applying to the wood
Avoid decking and use slabs/flags.

A quick google of anti slip decking shows plenty of answers such as Hckson's anti slip paint and Blackfriars such as link below:-

Anti slip strips as mentioned above are also listed for maybe steps or sloped areas
No idea if they work but the principle is sound by creating a matt finish that should be less slippy thana the natural sheen on oiled decking
I have used Hickson wood oil on hardwood decking before and it is excellent so the brand is good

nothing wrong with either, whatever suits you. well maintained decking shouldnt be slippery. what sort have you got?
